Part-time Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor

Lovelane is seeking a dynamic and collaborative instructor to join our team!  This position is part-time with flexible hours and offers a competitive salary.

Requirements and Skills Needed:

  • A current Massachusetts Riding Instructor License
  • PATH International Certification (Lovelane is open to training the right candidate to attain this certification)​
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid
  • PT/OT/SLP preferred, but not required
  • Must be familiar with therapeutic programming and the special needs population
  • Must have experience with horses, be a strong rider and knowledgeable of horse behavior
  • Possess a desire for and strong belief in Lovelane’s core values: positivity, collaboration, goodwill, respect, compassion, excellence and fun
  • Two professional references are required

Assistant Barn Manager

Lovelane is seeking a collaborative and diligent Assistant Barn Manager to join our team!

This position is part-time (15 – 25 hours per week) and offers a competitive salary.

Requirements and Skills Needed:

  • Must have experience with horse care, handling and knowledgeable of horse behavior
  • Must be able to prioritize responsibilities, organize workload and deal with urgent situations requiring immediate attention
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to tack and lead horses in therapeutic horseback riding lessons
  • Able to train, supervise and work with barn volunteers
  • Work cooperatively with the barn and program team
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Possess a desire for and strong belief in Lovelane’s core values: positivity, collaboration, goodwill, respect, compassion, excellence and fun
  • Two professional references are required
