He was Chief Executive Officer of EnvaPower Inc. and Executive Vice President of Genscape, Inc. As a founder of EnvaPower Inc., Dr. Beerel developed a premier realtime market intelligence business to serve U.S.-based power marketers. Previously, he was a co-founder of New Energy Ventures, Inc. He served as Corporate Senior Vice President of Supply & Trading at AES. Dr. Beerel earned an M.B.A. from Harvard University, with concentrations on Financial Markets and Corporate Strategic Risk Management and holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in fundamental modeling and statistics from the University of Houston. His daughter rides at Lovelane.
