Maddie Cicatelli
Maddie Cicatelli

Maddie has been riding and volunteering with horses since she was 8 years old. From that time she has strived to turn her passion for helping others and love of horses into a career. Maddie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2019 with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy and a concentration in Therapeutic Horseback Riding. Maddie also received her PATH Intl. certification in 2016 and a Massachusetts riding instructors license in 2014. Maddie has experience in many different riding disciplines including hunters and eventing, but currently enjoys lower level dressage on her 12-year-old Thoroughbred, Remy. When teaching, Maddie likes to incorporate principles of classical dressage to promote and utilize the horse’s natural therapeutic movement. As an occupational therapist, Maddie enjoys working closely with families and caregivers to help riders gain independence and reach their goals. When not at Lovelane, Maddie works as an OT at a skilled nursing facility, helping elderly patients with dementia achieve their goals.
