Ashton serves as CMO and interim CFO for a smart technology start-up based in Connecticut. Additionally, he is the founder and managing partner of Cannapoint Advisors, a boutique fund and advisory group, focused on investments in the American medicinal cannabis industry. Previously, he ran international mining and energy funds in Australia and the United Kingdom. He earned his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ashton’s daughter, Carolina, has been riding at Lovelane since 2016.
